Life can sometimes seem like just too much. Stressors like relationships, friendships, school, work, and family obligations can become too heavy to bear. Maybe there is a trauma you have carried for years that you still aren't quite sure how to handle. Maybe you are questioning aspects of your identity and you aren't sure where to turn to speak honestly about them. Or, maybe you just need someone to talk to who can help you process your daily life. That's where counseling can come in. I offer a welcoming, judgment-free space for you to bring all of who you are to the table! Together, we will discuss your struggles and strengths, and come up with new and effective ways to cope with the stressors you may be facing. I aim to be culturally competent and sensitive, and strive to offer a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds. Counseling offers a space for you to be your most honest self without fear of judgment. My clinical practice is grounded in an emotion-focused framework that emphasizes collaboration, autonomy, empathy, relationship-building, and cultural humility. I view the therapeutic relationship as dynamic and relational. We grow and change together in the process. Authenticity is central to my work. I approach therapy as a whole person. I carry my identities, personality, and lived experiences with me. I believe that, when I show up fully, it creates space for you to do the same. My goal is to offer you an emotionally safe environment where you can show up with all parts of yourself - your identities, feelings, stories, strengths, and struggles - without fear of judgment. I want you to feel deeply seen, heard, and valued for the whole person that you are. My approach is trauma-centered and am queer, CNM, and polyamory affirming. I am a World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) certified provider.

I work with college students who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, overthinking, panic symptoms, or difficulty focusing, especially during high-pressure academic or life transitions. Many of my clients feel mentally exhausted, easily triggered by stress, or frustrated by not being able to function the way they know they can. My approach is intentional, structured, and results-focused. I take time to understand your symptoms in detail and create a clear plan that may include medication management, practical strategies, and support with sleep, focus, and emotional regulation. I prioritize both immediate symptom relief and long-term stability, so you can feel more calm, clear, and in control of your daily life. You can expect straightforward communication, thoughtful care, and a provider who takes your concerns seriously. This may be a good fit if you’re ready for real support and a plan that actually helps you move forward.
College is often one of the most exciting and overwhelming times of life Many of the students I work with are navigating major transitions while trying to keep up with classes, relationships, work, family expectations, and the pressure to have it all figured out. Sometimes the challenges are obvious: Academic stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, breakups, family conflict, grief, or adjusting to college life. Sometimes they're more personal: Questioning your identity, sexuality, faith, values, or future career path. Feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you're becoming. Managing ADHD, autism, perfectionism, burnout, or people-pleasing. Trying to balance independence while still navigating family expectations. Feeling overwhelmed by the constant pressure to perform, achieve, and keep going. And sometimes it's simply realizing that the strategies that helped you get this far aren't working anymore. I believe you don't need fixing to deserve support. I think of myself as a life midwife: steady, grounded, and honest while something new is trying to emerge. My role isn't to tell you who to be or how to live your life. It's to help you make sense of where you are, reconnect with your strengths, and navigate the uncertainty that often comes with growth and change. If any of this resonates with you, you may be in a season of becoming. And you don't have to move through it alone.
Feeling Stressed, Stuck, or Just Overwhelmed? College is exciting—but let’s be honest, it can also feel like too much. Between classes, relationships, family expectations, and trying to figure out who you are and where you’re going, it’s easy to feel anxious, burnt out, or lost. Therapy can give you space to breathe, sort things out, and build tools that actually work for your life right now. You don’t have to wait until you’re “in crisis” to talk to someone—sometimes the best time to reach out is when you just need a place to be real without judgment. Whether it’s stress, identity questions, relationship struggles, or just feeling like you’re carrying more than you should, I’m here to walk with you. Your story matters, and your well-being matters. Let’s start where you are. Book a session today and give yourself the support you deserve.
I offer what I like to think of as a traditional talk therapy, where one is encouraged to talk about whatever you want for as long as you want. My experience is that many people find this process grounding, and there’s enormous evidence for the effectiveness of counseling generally. It seems like one gets the sense of what is happening and what to do about it. Even when things are going well, there’s appreciation. Insight is also a natural result of doing this. I get to understand who I’m talking with better the more I listen, and one usually gets a better sense of themselves the more they they hear themselves talk.
