Hi, I’m Carly! I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to build on your existing strengths. I remember firsthand how overwhelming college can feel—balancing academics, relationships, identity, past experiences and future plans can bring a lot of stress and anxiety. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I use a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and motivational interviewing, etc. - all tailored to your needs! I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, body image, perfectionism, and more. My style is laid-back, honest, and reflective. Together, we’ll set goals that align with what you want and help you move toward feeling more balanced, confident, and supported—both during college and beyond. I hope to see you soon!

I specialize in working with women struggling with anxiety, depression, struggles with self-esteem and setting boundaries. I have also done extensive work around surviving narcissistically abusive relationships and antagonistic relational stress; I am certified in this area as a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC). I have been told I have an authentic, genuine style. I also enjoy using humor. Also love Brainspotting for trauma. I have years of experience providing therapeutic services in a variety of modalities (community based, outpatient, intensive outpatient, group, biofeedback and neurofeedback). I am non-judgmental and open-minded, and provide a safe space for my clients to do hard work. I'd love to help. I'd love to work with you and walk with you through the good times and the bad. You deserve to create a life that you enjoy and to feel proud of the goals that you have achieved!
I enjoy being a comforting confidant to others who are struggling. My goal as a therapist is to invite you into a safe environment and to be a conduit of empowerment, education, and healing. The therapeutic process is an invitation to heal, grow, and confidently move forward in achieving your goals and dreams. I use a diverse approach in sessions composed of the following theories: Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and inner healing prayer. I obtained a BA in Psychology from the University of Nevada Reno and an MA in Counseling from Cornerstone University. My favorite internship experience was at the campus center working with college students just like you! I have 6.5 years of experience working in an inpatient setting as a group therapist, crisis counselor, and discharge planner in the California Bay Area. I worked with many people who had layers of trauma, severe mental illness, and homelessness. This experience taught me the true value of nonjudgmental listening and the significance of supportive advocacy. In addition, I have 6 years of experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing Applied Behavioral Analysis and support to children with Autism. I am excited to relocate to Michigan to be close to family once again and to have the opportunity to counsel at Hope and Wholeness Psychology Center. In my free time, I enjoy time with family and friends, hiking, crafting, cooking, and tea parties.

My name is Carolyn Roath. I am a Biblically informed Christian therapist, Master of Clinical Social Work, and owner of my own private telehealth practice. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. My heart for those grieving relational loss and trauma has led me to this work. As a follower of Christ, I seek to create a safe and nurturing environment where the client knows they are free from judgment. It is paramount for me that I hold the vulnerable, tender, and painful parts of my client’s being with dignity and respect. Being trusted by a client is an honor I take very seriously. In my work I strive to empower my clients to be self-led, while gently guiding them with questions to prompt self-reflection. I resonate strongly with attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, and Interpersonal Neurobiology utilizing a strength-based approach. I perceive my role as continually validating clients while helping them process, synthesize, and analyze information through active listening.
I am on Headway for virtual sessions. I would love to meet you. I was a non-traditional student when I attended college. I know how hard it can be. I will walk along side of you while we tackle your problems together.

Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re driven and expected to hold it all together. I work with holistic-minded adults, including entrepreneurs, professionals, athletes, neurodivergent individuals, transgendered individuals, and those with chronic illness or invisible disabilities, exploring identity, creativity, or burnout. I’m very laid back; come as you are. Curse, wear pajamas, lay in bed, be human. This is a space where you don’t have to perform, just show up. Only rule: please don’t drive during sessions or do anything that could harm yourself or others.

I welcome diversity in my practice. A majority of my clients identify as being a part of a diverse or minority population. My clients tend to come to therapy looking to feel more comfortable with themselves, explore their identity, or to reduce the stress of everyday life.
Whether this is your first time in counseling or you are looking to build on previous work, finding a therapist that is the right fit is vital. I am passionate about supporting clients by creating a safe, empathetic, judgment-free and welcoming space for them to process difficult experiences, manage life transitions and gain insight. While I have been a counselor for about 3 years, I have been working with trauma survivors and building on that knowledge for almost 9 years. My foundation as a therapist was built on advocacy work for survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment and stalking. Additionally, I have worked on several college campuses with students as they manage life transitions and stressors that come with this. Lastly, I love working with young adults in processing identity concerns, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and more. As a therapist I want to acknowledge the intersection of identities and life experiences that impact one’s identity. With this, I strive to be person-centered working collaboratively with the client to set their own mental health goals. Due to my knowledge and interest in trauma work I received training in EMDR and use that as a modality frequently. I hope to see you in therapy and look forward to hearing how I can support you in navigating life stressors and overall improving your mental health and wellbeing.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 26 years of experience in therapy. I have experience working with diverse populations, including adolescents, people with anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, relationship problems and substance use disorders.
